Joseph Klam has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on finance and accounting roles. Joseph is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Remington Hotels since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Accounting Officer at Highgate from September 2018 to May 2023. Joseph also held the position of EVP - Hotel Financial Services at Hersha Hospitality from February 2016 to September 2018.
Before joining Hersha Hospitality, they spent a significant time at Interstate Hotels & Resorts where they served as the EVP - Hotel Finance. In this role, Joseph was responsible for overseeing the operations of 440 hotels and resorts in 11 countries with revenues of over $3.0 billion. Joseph held this position from March 2003 to January 2015.
Prior to their tenure at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Joseph held various finance positions at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Wyndham International, Marriott International, Renaissance Hotels, and Stouffer Hotels & Resorts.
Joseph Klam earned an MBA in Business & Finance from the University of Phoenix from 1995 to 1998. Later, they pursued an additional MBA in Business Administration & Finance from the same university.
