Lesli Smith

Lesli Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Lesli currently holds the position of Complex Human Resources Director at Remington Hotels since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as Complex Human Resources Director at Chesapeake Hospitality from January 2019 to April 2022. Lesli also has significant experience in the hospitality sector, having worked as Human Resources Director for Affiliate Services LLC, Holiday Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn - Southridge, and Fairfield Inn & Suites from September 2009 to December 2018. Before venturing into the hospitality industry, Lesli had a role as a Lease Analyst at Chesapeake Energy from October 2006 to June 2009, where they handled the tracking of leased acreage and reviewed Oil & Gas Leases. Lesli also worked at Equitable Production Company as a Lease Analyst, Contract Analyst, and Division Order Analyst from September 2000 to September 2006. Lesli's career began as a Teacher, teaching 2nd and 3rd grade at St. Anthony Catholic School from January 1995 to June 2000.

After high school, they went on to West Virginia State University from 1989 to 1993, earning a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Later, they pursued further education at Marshall University Graduate School from 2006 to 2009, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
