Derrick Kennedy Pe, Ptp

Derrick Kennedy, PE, PTP has extensive work experience in the transportation and traffic engineering field. Derrick is currently the Senior Project Manager and Traffic Engineering Department Head at Remington & Vernick Engineers, a role they have held since May 2016. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Transportation Manager at Rybinski Engineering from August 2013 to April 2016. Starting their career in 1992, Derrick worked at Orth-Rodgers & Associates, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager for over 20 years, until August 2013.

Derrick Kennedy, PE, PTP, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, which they earned from Spring Garden College from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their education, Derrick has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Derrick received their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Government of the District of Columbia in July 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from Maryland in May 2016. Furthermore, they acquired the Professional Transportation Planner certification from the Transportation Professional Certification Board in May 2007.
