Michael Edwards

Michael Edwards has extensive work experience in the operations and manufacturing field. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Operations at Remis America LLC, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kroger as a Continuous Improvement Leader from January to June 2022. From 2020 to 2021, they were an Operations Manager at Golden State Foods, where they successfully managed work schedules, collaborated across departments, and controlled costs. Before that, they worked at Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee for several roles, including Production Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Supervisor, and Production Supervisor. These roles involved directing manufacturing operations, managing quality assurance functions, and supervising production teams. Michael has also gained experience as a Production Supervisor at Texas American Foodservice Corporation, where they were responsible for meeting production targets and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Michael Edwards earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Northwestern State University from 2000 to 2004. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael has acquired several certifications including OSHA 10, Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - TMAC, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual, and Safe Quality Food.
