Hermilla Fentaw

Hermilla Fentaw is a Software Development Engineer at Remitly since August 2023, having previously completed a Software Development Engineering Internship at the same company in 2022. Between January 2021 and June 2023, Hermilla served as an Undergraduate Residential Advisor at Dartmouth College, managing community development through event organization and policy enforcement. As a Thrive Scholar from June 2018 to June 2023, Hermilla participated in a six-year program aimed at fostering professional development for high-achieving, underrepresented first-generation students. Additional experience includes being a Fellow at Code2040, an Accelerator Intern at Evidence Action, and a Center for Teaching Excellence Intern at the American University of Kuwait. Hermilla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Dartmouth College, earned in 2023.
