Ian Freed

Ian Freed is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and product strategy. Currently serving as a Strategy and Product Consultant for Remitly since November 2023, Freed previously co-founded Bamboo Learning, where as Chairman, the focus was on developing education technologies utilizing voice-based devices. Freed's past roles include Vice President at Amazon, overseeing notable products such as Amazon Echo, Alexa, and Kindle, as well as serving on the board of Voxel8 to advance digital manufacturing. Earlier career highlights include leadership positions at RealNetworks and founding Ian Freed Consulting. Freed holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Dartmouth College.
