Umesh Nair

Umesh Nair is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in treasury and financial markets. Currently serving as Treasury Controller at Remitly since October 2021, Umesh has previously held senior management roles in corporate treasury at HDFC Bank and YES BANK, where responsibilities included overseeing financial markets operations. Umesh began a career at ICICI Bank as a Product Manager in Business Banking Products and served as a Project Co-ordinator at HERE, a Nokia company. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Accounting from Birla College of Arts Science & Commerce.
