Hicham Jawhar

Hicham Jawhar is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in treasury operations, financial analysis, and accounting. Currently serving as Chief of Treasury Operations at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) since January 2017, Hicham has successfully prepared investment income reports, managed payment compliance, and developed cash flow plans. Prior to this role, Hicham worked as an Accountant/Controller at Basement Systems Quebec, implementing strategies that reduced costs and improved reporting cycles. Previous experience also includes a Finance Manager position at Hilti, where Hicham established credit and payment policies to enhance financial performance and team retention, and a Financial Analyst role at Golden Bag, focusing on financial reporting and analysis. Hicham holds an MBA from Lebanese American University, a CMA from IMA, a B.A. in Management from AUL, and a CPA designation from CPA Canada.
