Darwensi Clark

Darwensi Clark is the current Operations Officer at Remix ⟷ Culture. Prior to this, they served as Managing Director of Program Operations at StoryCorps from February 2018 to September 2022. In this role, they standardized the Program division's finance, legal, and human resources documentation and processes in close collaboration with StoryCorps' Finance & Administration (F&A) division. Darwensi also sheparded the utilization of project management software (Trello, Asana) across Programs and F&A teams, and engaged with StoryCorps' social enterprise team to identify alignment between Program's emerging initiatives and client project verticals.

From September 2015 to January 2018, Darwensi served as Associate Director of Resettlement Operations at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. In this role, they were responsible for the accurate, timely, and consistent reporting of information (financial, qualitative/quantitative) by Program senior directors. Darwensi also oversaw recruitment, training and managerial responsibilities of four departmental areas, and managed senior-level staff and indirect reports/consultants across the U.S.

Darwensi Clark has a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Social Service Professions from the University of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ball State University. Darwensi also has a certification from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education in Nonprofit Financial Stewardship Program.
