Shelly Joseph-Dixon has extensive work experience in the fields of training and development, events coordination, and hospitality management. Shelly has worked as a Freelance Training and Development professional, Instructional Designer, Facilitator, Assessor, Coach and mentor for various companies. Their role focused on designing accredited training material for a variety of industries, skills analyst, and SDF. Shelly has also worked as a Function Coordinator, Catering Manager, and Event Coordinator for TSAfrika and Empact Group. Shelly Joseph-Dixon worked as an Ex-Instructional Designer for a company for four years and a Training Designer for Sage Pastel Payroll. Shelly commenced their career as an Assessor for Cathsseta and served for 17 years. Shelly was also appointed as a Training Manager for Foundation outsource services, and Assistant GM & F & B manager for Marion on Nicol. Presently, they are employed as a Customer Success Manager at Remofirst since 2023.
Shelly Joseph-Dixon's education history starts with matriculation from King David Linksfield in 1992. Shelly then obtained a NDip in Catering Management from Wits Hotel School from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they completed a Bachelor of Technology in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Johannesburg in 2005-2006. Shelly completed one more Btech in Hospitality Management from the same university in the same year. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Occupational Education and Training Practitioner from Very Cool Ideas.
