Gayantha Karunarathna - Mieaust Ceng

Gayantha Karunarathna, a member of Engineers Australia and a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka, currently serves as a Strategic Project Manager at REMONDIS Australia since September 2022, focusing on identifying growth opportunities and developing business cases. Previously, Gayantha worked as a Mechanical Project Engineer at ANSTO, where project development and stakeholder management were key responsibilities, and as a Project Engineer at AstraZeneca, overseeing the design and installation of new product lines. Earlier experience includes roles at JR Richards & Sons, Ceylon Petroleum Refinery, ARYANS Engineering, JOANNOU & PARASKEVAIDES, and Everest Industrial Lanka, encompassing project management and engineering responsibilities. Gayantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Ruhuna.
