Anton Joubert

Anton started his career in the energy sector immediately after completing his LLB degree and the legal internship program of the Association of Attorneys’ School for Legal Practice. He was the founder of SA Meter (“SAM”), a company that delivered electricity measurement and meter calibration services to mainly ESKOM and various Local Governments. Anton co-founded RMS as part of a natural process of synergy between like-minded colleagues and friends. He is passionate about the application of disruptive technologies within the energy sector and is constantly devoted to finding new solutions fitting the RMS business model. As a conservationist, he believes that the negative effect of Global Warming on the natural habitat is possibly the biggest challenge humanity has yet had to face. He believes that RMS, through the reach of its customers and clients can, with the implementation of sustainable energy strategies and innovative technologies, contribute to the global effort against climate change. Anton holds other non-executive directorships in a range of private companies. He has 30 years experience in the energy sector.
