Malcolm Moodie

Malcolm went to the University of Johannesburg (at the time Rand Afrikaans University) where he read for a B. Com in Accounting. He completed his Honours degree and qualified as both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant (CMA). Since completing his articles, he has been engaged in several businesses, particularly focusing on professional and administrative services. These have been rendered through, amongst others, an auditing and management consulting practice. He also played an active role in the management of several other enterprises. In 1998, he joined the investment community by qualifying as a stockbroker and registered with the SA Institute of Stockbrokers. In 2000, he disposed of his interests in the auditing and management consulting practice and founded Centric Holdings, a group focussed on technology and service solutions. He serves as an executive and non-executive director for several entities. His duties vary predominantly between strategic and advisory functions but also include certain management functions. During his career, he has been and remains involved in various business sectors, including property, technology, services, investment, and finance, both locally and abroad.
