Nikolaos Galiatsatos

Nikolaos Galiatsatos is a Council Member at RSPSoc. Nikolaos was previously an Honorary Research Fellow at Durham University from September 2013 to September 2016, where they conducted accuracy assessments of forest area and Forest change estimates in support of MRVS in Guyana as part of the REDD+ engagement. From September 2011 to August 2013, they were a Teaching Fellow with Research time at Durham University, where they taught in the Geography department and conducted research in the Archaeology department. From February 2011 to August 2013, they were a Research Associate at Durham University, conducting accuracy assessments of Forest area and Forest change estimates in support of MRVS in Guyana as part of the REDD+ engagement. From April 2008 to September 2011, they were a Research Associate at Durham University. From November 2007 to March 2008, they were a Research Associate at Durham University. From July 2005 to October 2007, they were a Research Associate at Durham University.

Nikolaos Galiatsatos has a PhD in Remote Sensing & GIS from Durham University. Nikolaos also has a MEnvS in GSES, Environmental Studies from the University of Strathclyde, and a BSc in Survey Engineering, Topography from Technologiko Ekpaideutiko Idrima, Athinas. Nikolaos Galiatsatos also has certification from FutureLearn in Monitoring Climate from Space — European Space Agency and certification from Coursera in Geospatial Intelligence & the Geospatial Revolution.
