Jimmy Weir

Jimmy Weir is currently a postgraduate student specializing in War Studies at King's College London, having commenced studies in September 2024. In addition, Jimmy serves as Chair of the Brentford Masters Rowing Club and as a member of the Board of Advisors for Renais Spirits and the Board of Trustees for the Chiswick House & Gardens Trust. Previously, Jimmy held prominent financial leadership positions including Group CFO at Direct Wines from March 2015 to June 2024, CFO at Hearst Magazines UK from September 2013 to January 2015, and CFO at Egmont UK from October 2008 to September 2013. Earlier roles included Group Finance Director at Emap Limited and various finance director positions at Emap and Euromoney Institutional Investor. Educational background includes studies at The University of Edinburgh and Eton College, as well as early education at Ashdown House.
