Andrea Altomani

Andrea Altomani is the Vice President and Senior Actuary at RenaissanceRe since March 2019, with a prior role as an Actuarial Pricing Analyst at Tokio Millennium Re AG from June 2013 to March 2019. Altomani's expertise includes pricing reinsurance treaties across all property and casualty lines, developing pricing methodologies and tools, and implementing capital models for enterprise risk management. Previous research experience as a Postdoc at the University of Luxembourg involved contributions to the Harmonic Analysis research group, focusing on geometry, analysis, and mathematical physics. Altomani holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and has completed extensive studies in mathematics and actuarial studies at prestigious institutions including Scuola Normale Superiore, Università di Pisa, and ETH Zürich.
