Andrew Rayner

Andrew Rayner is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and cash management roles. Currently serving as VP of Treasury at RenaissanceRe since December 2021, Andrew previously held leadership positions at BMO Financial Group, where responsibilities included managing a $10 billion portfolio and leading a team across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. With prior roles at HSBC and foundational experience as a founder of Initial Design & Communications, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in developing strategic relationships, managing complex financial solutions, and providing impactful advice across various sectors, including public services, agriculture, and real estate. Andrew holds a BA in Political Science/Business Management from Dalhousie University, a diploma in Information Technology & Computer Studies from Mount Saint Vincent University, and has had a diverse career spanning over two decades in banking and consultancy.
