Fares Bouchedid

Fares Bouchedid has extensive work experience as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in various companies. Fares currently holds the position of Partner and CTO at ArcusScale, where they combine customer ideas with the latest technology to create innovative software solutions. Additionally, they serve as the CTO at Renalis, overseeing the development of a mobile-enhanced digital therapeutic for overactive bladder treatment. Fares also held the role of CTO at Oklahoma Minerals, responsible for the software development of their flagship product.

Prior to their current roles, Fares served as the CTO at Turning Technologies for over a decade, where they played a vital role in the company's growth and success. Fares was also involved in the education sector, serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Youngstown State University, where they taught various technical subjects and prepared students for careers in the technology industry.

Before that, Fares worked as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute and held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Compunetix and a Lead Software Engineer at Notify Technology.

Fares Bouchedid pursued their education in the field of computing and information systems. Fares obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Youngstown State University in 2007. Fares furthered their studies and received a Master of Science degree in Computing and Information Systems from the same university in 2009. Continuing their academic journey, Fares completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with AACSB Accreditation from Youngstown State University in 2015.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Fares also holds several certifications related to Scrum, an Agile project management methodology. Fares obtained their initial certification, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®), in November 2014. Following that, they achieved Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) in March 2015 and Certified Scrum Professional® - Developer in May 2015. In 2017, Fares gained certifications as a Certified Scrum Professional® - ScrumMaster and a Certified Scrum Professional®-Product Owner. Fares'smost recent certification is Advanced Certified ScrumMaster, which they obtained in August 2018. Fares' educational background and certifications demonstrate their commitment to both technical skills in computing and information systems and proficiency in Agile methodologies.
