Mike Whitt

Mike Whitt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mike currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Renasant Bank since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head Basketball Coach and Program Coordinator at J Smith International Basketball Club starting in 2020. From 2015 to 2021, they were the EVP and Chief Information Security Officer at IBERIABANK. Before that, they held various positions at BBVA Compass from 1999 to 2015, including CISO - Director IT Risk, Fraud and Security and VP, Manager IT Security. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sr. Systems Administrator at EDS, a Technical Manager at BellSouth, and a Data Specialist at DPAssociates, Inc.

Mike Whitt attended Auburn University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems. In 2011, they attended the Texas McCombs School of Business, specifically the BBVA Compass School of Management, for an unspecified degree. Additionally, Mike obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)2 in May 2008.
