Mourad Abbas

Mourad ABBAS has a diverse work experience, starting from 1996 with GEC ALSTHOM as a student software developer. Mourad then worked as a software developer at CashHandler Retail Systems Inc. in 1998. Mourad later joined DESYS Informatique Finance as a software developer in 1998. In 1999, they worked as an IS project manager & developer at Alstom. Mourad then moved to Eurocontrol in 2001, where they worked as an air traffic control project manager. In 2004, Mourad joined Siemens VDO Automotive as the Renault Road Runner Radio Navigation project manager. Mourad joined Groupe Renault in 2005, where they held various roles such as manufacturing, maintenance, performance, and environment IS manager, digital manufacturing and maintenance domain manager, and data and architecture general manager for sales & marketing, among others. In 2018, Mourad joined Renault Digital as the head of API governance, MDM & Data Trading program, managing a team of 50 people and overseeing API factory & governance, enterprise repositories, and improving dev productivity.

Mourad ABBAS completed a Certificat Master Intelligence Artificielle, Big Data from Mines Paris in 2022-2023, specializing in Dauphine/PSL Executive Education. Earlier, they obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) during 1995-1998. Mourad also pursued further studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 1997-1998.
