Ryan Armbrust

Ryan Armbrust is a seasoned professional in venture capital and technology transfer, currently serving as Partner and Head of Alliance Ventures at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi since April 2018. This role involves managing a venture capital fund for the global automotive manufacturers, focusing on direct investments and fund-of-funds. Prior to this, Ryan held various positions at ff Venture Capital from February 2012 to March 2019, contributing to a diverse portfolio of over 100 seed-stage investments. Earlier experience includes serving as Technology Licensing Officer at Columbia Technology Ventures from February 2005 to February 2012, where Ryan managed a portfolio centered on intellectual property and commercialization stemming from Columbia University's research. Ryan earned a B.A. in American Studies from Columbia University after graduating from Rocklin High School.
