Alvaro Santiago is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and powertrain development. Currently serving as Senior Manager ADAS and Project Engineer at Renault Group since April 2022, Alvaro oversees the QCDP for the new Renault AUSTRAL and ESPACE within the SWEET200 Architecture, managing a multidisciplinary global team. Prior to this role, Alvaro spent 17 years at Grupo Renault España, holding various positions including Monozukuri Project Manager focused on cost reduction for the Renault Kadjar and Megane, and Team Manager for powertrain systems. Alvaro has also held leadership roles in system validation and powertrain calibration for multiple diesel engine projects. Alvaro's earlier career at CIDAUT involved managing a Road Restrain Systems Laboratory and conducting intensive testing for safety systems. Alvaro holds degrees in Ingeniería Industrial and Ingeniería Técnica Industrial from recognized institutions in Spain.
