Jean-Yves Simon

Jean-Yves Simon is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Chief Production Engineer at Renault Group since January 2015, where responsibilities include managing Industrial Engineering for the new DUSTER and BIGSTER vehicles. Previously held roles include Technical Plant Director and Deputy Industrial Project Director overseeing Manufacturing and Process Engineering for the Coupe Crossover ARKANA at the Moscow plant. Prior to Renault Group, Jean-Yves served as Manufacturing Engineering Division Manager at AVTOVAZ from 2012 to December 2014, focusing on the development and launch of new vehicles while implementing manufacturing standards in the Togliatti plant. Jean-Yves's career at Renault from 2000 to 2012 involved various positions in process engineering and project planning at the Flins and Sandouville plants.
