Diogo Ferreira

Diogo Ferreira is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in tunneling and geotechnical structures. Since October 2017, Diogo Ferreira has held multiple roles at Rendel Limited, currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Engineer & Team Lead Tunnels, following previous positions as Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, and Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Collaborator at the Departamento de Engenharia Civil da Universidade de Coimbra, where Diogo Ferreira focused on numerical modeling of geotechnical structures, as well as a consultancy role at ACIV - FCTUC for stress-deformation analysis of the Las Palmas railway tunnel. Diogo Ferreira earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnics from Universidade de Coimbra, complemented by studies at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2015.
