Elvis Chiro

Elvis Chiro is an experienced Exploration Geologist currently working at Renergen Limited since July 2022, specializing in well evaluation and planning, structural modeling, and data analysis using Leapfrog software. Prior to this role, Elvis served as a Junior Exploration Geologist, where responsibilities included core and chip logging, structural interpretations, and compiling reports for PASA. Elvis also gained experience as a Machine Operator at Joyson Safety Systems, manufacturing airbags, and as a Laboratory Analyst at Eurofins, focusing on water sample analysis. Additionally, Elvis completed a research internship at Mintek, focusing on metal-organic frameworks for wastewater treatment during a Master's thesis project. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Sustainable Mining and Remediation Management from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, as well as Honors and Bachelor's degrees in Geology from the University of the Free State.
