Gireesh Rajendran

Gireesh Rajendran is a seasoned leader in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Senior Director and Product Line Manager for Radar Sensors at Renesas Electronics since October 2022. Prior to this role, Gireesh co-founded and served as CEO of Steradian Semiconductors, a pioneering imaging radar startup that secured funding from venture capital and established partnerships with automotive clients before its acquisition by Renesas in October 2022. Gireesh has a strong technical background with previous experience as a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm, where architected a 28nm LTA/LTE-A radio that achieved over 2 billion units sold, and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments, contributing to multiple RF and wireless technologies and holding 26 patents. Gireesh holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, obtained in 2000.
