Hidetoshi Shibata

Hidetoshi Shibata currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Renesas Electronics, a role held since November 2013, following positions as EVP CFO and CAO. Prior to this, Hidetoshi Shibata was the Executive Managing Director at the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan from September 2009 to October 2013 and held the title of Managing Director at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities from October 2007 to July 2009. Experience also includes being a Partner at MKS Partners / Schroder Ventures KK from 2001 to 2007 and serving as a Project Manager at Central Japan Railway Co. from April 1995 to June 1999. Hidetoshi Shibata earned an MBA in Business Administration from Harvard Business School between 1999 and 2001 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechano-Informatics from The University of Tokyo from 1991 to 1995.
