Lisa Giarratano

Lisa Giarratano currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer at ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization, overseeing curriculum design and implementation for grades 3-8. With a strong background in educational leadership, Lisa has held various roles within ReNEW Schools, including Executive Director of Academics and School Director, where strategic staffing and instructional decisions were made for over 450 students and 60 staff members. Previously, Lisa worked as a Teacher Development Coach at TNTP, focusing on the development of Teach NOLA Fellows, and as Director of Instructional Coaching and Director of Math Curriculum & Instruction at ReNEW Schools, leading coaching models and curriculum development aligned with Common Core standards. Lisa began the educational career teaching at Albert Wicker Literacy Academy, significantly improving student pass rates on state assessments. Lisa's educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Fordham University.
