Abram Perdana has extensive work experience in the field of electrical design and power systems analysis, with a focus on renewable energy projects. Abram started their career as a Lecturer and Researcher at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1999, where they worked until 2004. During this time, they also served as a Researcher at the Center for Energy Studies, Gadjah Mada University, where they conducted various energy resource assessments and led an energy audit at a textile manufacturer.
In 2004, they joined Chalmers University of Technology as a Doktorand/Teaching Assistant, conducting research on wind power generation and its interactions with power system stability. Abram provided teaching assistance to master's students and continued their research until 2009, when they transitioned to the role of Postdoctoral Researcher. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, they focused on grid integration of renewable energy, particularly wind power, and developed dynamic models of power system components.
In 2010, Abram Perdana joined RES as a Power Systems Analyst and worked in this role until 2012, where they delivered studies and analyses on the electrical design and power system elements of renewable power and energy storage projects. Abram then took on the role of Senior Power Systems Analyst, providing technical advice on advanced aspects of grid compliance for renewable energy projects in various countries.
Their most recent position was as a Principal Electrical Analyst at RES starting in 2020, where they continued to provide expertise in electrical design and power systems analysis for renewable energy projects.

Abram Perdana's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Electric Power Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) from 1993 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2003. Finally, they completed their Ph.D. in Electric Power Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology from 2004 to 2009.
