Senior Development Project Manager at Renewable Energy Systems

Eleanor Cairns has a diverse work experience across various industries. Eleanor began their career in 2010 as a Gymnastics Coach at YMCA Enoggera. Eleanor worked in different roles within YMCA until 2016, including Senior Gymnastics Coach. In 2013, they joined YMCA Bowen Hills as a Gymnastics Coach and worked there until 2016. In 2015, they interned at EarthCheck. Eleanor then worked as a Gymnastics Coach at Delta Brisbane in 2016 and as a Field Studies/Activity Instructor at PGL Travel from 2017 to 2017, where they taught students geography and biology skills. In 2018, they worked as a Receptionist at Thatchers Hotel before moving on to Inspired People (Greenpeace), where they held roles as Fundraiser and Team Leader. Currently, they are working at RES as a Development Project Manager since July 2021. Prior to this, they were a Development Project Assistant at RES from 2019 to July 2021.

Eleanor Cairns earned their Bachelor of Environmental Management degree in Sustainable Development from The University of Queensland, where they attended from 2012 to 2016.
