Euan Hogg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the renewable energy sector. Euan started their career at Camco as an Analyst in 2007 and was later promoted to an Environmental Consultant. In this role, they provided carbon management advice and conducted energy assessments for various renewable energy projects.
In 2012, Euan joined Verco as a Senior Consultant, where they project managed the construction of commercial wind turbine installations and conducted Energy Surveys for Royal Mail's sorting offices in Scotland.
In 2013, Euan became a Director at Johnston Renewables Ltd., a newly formed employee-owned company. Euan played a crucial role in the company's establishment, retaining key contracts and providing consultancy advice in wind and hydro technologies.
In 2014, Euan formed Water Engine Technologies Ltd. (WET) to commercialize a unique low-head hydro-power technology. Euan successfully managed investor and Scottish Enterprise relationships and secured direct investment of £0.3m in two years for WET.
Euan then joined Natural Power in 2019 as a Project Manager, where they managed various projects in the renewable energy sector until their recent move to RES as a Development Project Manager in 2021.
Euan Hogg completed their education at Heriot-Watt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management and Technology. This program spanned from 2001 to 2005. Later on, Euan pursued a Master's degree in Energy, specializing in Renewable Energy Systems, from 2006 to 2007 at the same university.
