Jane Douglas Meng Ceng Miet

Jane Douglas MEng CEng MIET has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Jane is currently serving as a Technical Asset Manager at RES since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Site Operations Manager at RES from September 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining RES, Jane held the position of Regional Site Manager & Senior Authorised Person at BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH from December 2019 to September 2021.

Jane also has experience as a Wind Farm Manager at BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited from July 2018 to December 2019, and at Natural Power from May 2017 to July 2018.

Jane was the General Manager at Telford FM for a brief period from February 2017 to May 2017.

Jane worked as an Engineering Consultant for Barra Wind Energy at Barra & Vatersay Community Ltd from November 2013 to June 2015.

Jane began their career in the House of Commons, where they served as a Parliamentary Assistant & Caseworker from 2007 to 2015.

Prior to their role in the House of Commons, they were a Power Systems Team Manager at SSE plc from November 1997 to October 2003.

Jane also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Manager at Zeneca Agrochemicals from November 1996 to November 1997 and as a Control/Electrical Engineer from January 1993. Their role at Zeneca Agrochemicals continued until joining SSE plc.

Jane started their professional journey as a Control/Electrical Sponsorship at ICI CHEMICALS & POLYMERS LIMITED in May 1989 and left in November 1996.
