Jim Cameron has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Jim started their career as a student civil engineer at Scott Wilson in 2007, where they gained valuable experience in the renewable energy sector. Following this, they worked as a civil engineer at Scott Wilson (now part of URS Corporation) from 2008 to 2012, playing a crucial role in the design, engineering, and technical advisory aspects of onshore wind farm developments. In 2012, Jim joined RES as a project engineer, where they demonstrated their expertise in managing and executing projects. Jim progressed to the role of senior project engineer and later became the development project manager, showcasing their leadership and management abilities. Throughout their career, Jim has consistently contributed to the success of various projects, combining their technical knowledge with their project management skills.

Jim Cameron attended The University of Edinburgh from 2003 to 2008, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering.
