Stephen Cookson

Stephen Cookson has over 17 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. Stephen is currently the Director of Development and Origination at RES, where they are responsible for PPA contracting outreach, bidding, and negotiation in the emerging Canadian C&I market. Stephen also manages client relationships, market forecasting, and financial modeling efforts for various off-take opportunities. Previously, Stephen served as the Director of Development at RES, overseeing the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and transmission line projects in Canada. Stephen was also responsible for founding the RES affiliate in Santiago, Chile. Prior to their time at RES, Stephen worked as a Project Manager at Seneca experts-conseils.
