Casey MacLean

Casey MacLean currently serves as the Offshore Wind Policy Manager at Renewable Northwest, focusing on legislative and regulatory efforts for the responsible development of offshore wind energy since January 2024. Prior to this role, Casey was a Senior Advisor at ESP Advisors for a brief period and spent over four years as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Representative Jared Huffman, covering critical areas such as natural resources, climate and energy, and Native American issues. Previous experience includes positions as Legislative Assistant, Policy Aide for the Committee on Natural Resources, and Clerk for the same committee. Early career highlights include internships and research assistant roles at organizations like Oceana and NOAA, along with a policy and communications internship at the Consortium for Ocean Leadership. Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Environmental Science & Policy from William & Mary.
