Dan Jaynes

Dan Jaynes possesses extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Origination at The AES Corporation since June 2024. Prior positions include Senior Manager of Origination for WECC and CAISO at ConnectGEN LLC and Business Development Manager for North America at Mainstream Renewable Power. Dan has held various roles at Avangrid Renewables from 2014 to 2021, including Lead Senior Renewables Originator and Director of Energy Resources and Meteorology. Additional experience includes board membership at the Oregon Citizens' Utility Board and technical sales support at Vestas. Early career roles involved energy analysis, project management at GARRAD HASSAN AMERICA INC, and wind energy site assessment at Massachusetts Technology Collaborative. Dan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
