Alina Molchadsky began their work experience as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University in 2002. Alina then joined the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2005, where they worked as a Research Assistant and later became a PhD student, specializing in the roles of p53 in mesenchymal cell differentiation. At the Weizmann Institute, they gained extensive experience in mammalian cell culture and induction of differentiation towards various cell lineages.
In 2011, Alina Molchadsky became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weizmann Institute, focusing on the characterization of the role of p53 tumor suppressor in early stages of somatic cell reprogramming. Alina also worked as a Senior Intern, investigating the mechanism underlying ovarian cancer stem cells resistance to cancer therapeutics. Alina was responsible for writing and reviewing scientific manuscripts, funding applications, and progress reports, as well as guiding MSc and PhD students.
In 2017, Alina Molchadsky joined Science in Action as the Head of the in vitro research unit. In this role, they were fully responsible for managing all scientific and operational aspects of the unit, specializing in preclinical tailor-made research in both in vitro and animal models.
Currently, Alina Molchadsky serves as the Head of Product at Renewal Bio, starting in 2023.
Alina Molchadsky obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology from Tel Aviv University from 1999 to 2002. Alina then pursued a Master's degree in Human Molecular Genetics from Tel Aviv University between 2003 and 2005. Alina furthered their education at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they completed their PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from 2006 to 2011.
In addition to their academic degrees, Alina Molchadsky also obtained certifications in related fields. In September 2019, they received certification in the OECD Principles of GLP from ISRAC. Alina also obtained a Safety Officer certification from kivunim הדרכות בטיחות in December 2018.
