Caroline Cotto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in food innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Director of NECTAR at Food System Innovations, Caroline is focused on accelerating the protein transition. Additionally, Caroline mentors startups in the START Innovators program at Princeton Entrepreneurship Council and has been an Emeritus Board Member and Founding Board Member of the Upcycled Food Association, where significant achievements include defining "upcycled food" and launching an industry certification. As a Co-Founder and Board Member of Renewal Mill, Caroline contributes to reducing food waste through innovative ingredient solutions. Caroline has also held mentoring roles in the Techstars accelerator programs and has experience in communications and program management at organizations like HubSpot and the UN World Food Programme. Caroline's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University and an altMBA.
