Walker Colt

Walker Colt has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Intern at LINN Energy, LLC in 2010. Walker then went on to work as an Intern at EnerVest, Ltd. in 2012. In 2013, Colt joined Halliburton as an LWD/MWD Field Engineer.

In 2014, they joined Contango Oil & Gas Company and served as a Completion Engineer until 2016 before becoming a Reservoir Engineer until 2018.

Colt then worked at Saxet Petroleum, Inc. as a Sr. Reservoir Engineer from 2018 to 2021, and later as Vice President - Engineering and Finance from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering - Permian at Mesa Minerals Partners II, LLC, starting in 2022.

In 2019, Colt co-founded Renewell Energy. Throughout their career, Colt has gained extensive experience in engineering and finance within the petroleum industry.

Walker Colt has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University. Walker obtained this degree from 2008 to 2013. In addition, they also attended New York University in Florence, Italy for a brief period in 2008 to study Renaissance Art, although they did not earn a degree from this institution. Later, from 2018 to 2020, Walker pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business. The specific field of study for their MBA is not provided.
