Paloma Baena Olabe

Paloma Baena Olabe serves as Global Strategy Director at RENFE, responsible for shaping and evolving the company's strategy within a workforce of 15,000 employees. In addition to this role, Paloma holds various academic and advisory positions, including serving as an Adjunct Professor at IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs and as a member of the Executive Commission at the Real Instituto Elcano. As the Founder and President of the EJE&CON Sustainability Hub, Paloma leads efforts to advance sustainability in corporate governance, bringing together over 250 senior executives. Additional roles include Board Member at Acción por la Música and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, and past advisory positions at Adevinta and LLYC, where Paloma contributed to significant revenue growth and strategic policy advice, particularly in relation to sustainability and EU regulations. Educational qualifications include a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University and advanced leadership training from prestigious institutions including Esade and The Wharton School.
