Jack Reed

Jack Reed has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, beginning in 1994 at Alcon, a Novartis company. Jack started as a Production Manager in Compounding Operations, managing the production activities for compounding and formulation of ophthalmic drug and medical device products. Jack then became a QA Validation Project Manager, managing validation activities for the startup of the ASPEX facility. In 2004, they were promoted to Principal Engineer and Team Lead, managing projects for expansion of the existing facility for increased volume to improve compliance with industry standards. Jack also implemented lean manufacturing techniques for process optimization within the compounding area and introduced new equipment and processes for the manufacture of new products. In 2014, Jack Reed moved to ZS Pharma as Director of Quality Engineering, managing the Quality Engineering group for process design, validation, and startup of a new API manufacturing facility. In 2019, they became the Sr. Director of Operations at Renibus Therapeutics.

Jack Reed attended Texas A&M University from 1982 to 1986, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
