Matthew Mejía

Matthew Mejía is an accomplished financial executive and strategic leader with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as CFO and Chief Strategy Officer at SpinLaunch since May 2023, Mejía plays a crucial role in advancing space technology and deployment initiatives. Previously, as Chief Strategy & Development Officer at Sierra Space and CFO at Aerion Supersonic, significant contributions were made to strategic development and financial oversight. Mejía has also held prominent positions at Renaissance Strategic Advisors, where the role of Executive In Residence was undertaken, and as Managing Partner from 2009 to 2020. A solid foundation in strategic consulting was built through roles at Booz & Company and CRA International. Early career experiences include a notable tenure at NASA Glenn Research Center. Mejía holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering from The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively.
