Jon Holtzman

Jon Holtzman is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Renne Public Law Group since March 2018. Previously, Holtzman was a Partner at Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai from 2002 until March 2018. From 1987 to 2002, Holtzman held the role of Director of Policy and Labor for the City and County of San Francisco, where responsibilities included acting as the chief labor negotiator for the Mayor. Additionally, Holtzman served as Chief Deputy City Attorney, where significant contributions were made to a nationally recognized affirmative litigation program. Earlier career experience includes working as the Chief Labor and Employment Attorney, managing labor negotiations, and serving as an Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP focusing on employment litigation. Holtzman law clerked for Associate Justice Otto M. Kaus at the California Supreme Court and earned a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School, along with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College.
