Reno Air Racing Association
Frederick Telling is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Telling serves as the Chairman and CEO of the Reno Air Racing Association since October 2017 and as President of the T6 Racing Association since September 2007. Previously, Telling held the position of Chairman at Oragenics, Inc. until December 2022 and was an emeritus board member and vice chairman of the United Hospital Fund from July 1998 to July 2021. Additional roles include board member and chairman of the audit committee at CTI BioPharma, board member at Eisai, MEDEX Global Group, and March of Dimes, as well as part-time lecturer at Cornell University. Telling holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has degrees in Labor and Industrial Relations and History/Economics from Cornell University and Hamilton College, respectively.

The Reno Air Racing Association is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to produce a first-class air racing and air show event that celebrates and perpetuates the world’s fastest motorsport. Fueled by decades of success, we’re committed to delivering a safe, entertaining and exhilarating experience for fans while also honoring our military, inspiring our youth and strengthening our community, economy and culture. The Reno Air Racing Association Board of Directors, a small full-time staff and hundreds of volunteers work together to preserve this unique event. Staff members handle the thousands of details needed year-after-year, planning for the next event before the current one is completed. More than 1,200 volunteers serve in capacities ranging from course safety and security to event sequencing and air traffic control to race timing and scoring.
