Avner Priel

Avner Priel has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2000, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tel Aviv University. In 2001, they became a Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University. In 2003, they were a Research Associate at the University of Alberta, the CEO of Algosense Ltd, and the Head of Machine Learning group at Elbit Systems Ltd. In 2006, they became the Chief Scientific Officer at cellexnetworks. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Lecturer and Research Associate at Bar-Ilan University's Faculty of Life Sciences. In 2019, they became the Research Project Lead at The Faculty of Engineering Tel Aviv University's Cellular Biophysics and Imaging Lab and the CTO/Co-Founder at renovai.

Avner Priel received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Bar-Ilan University between 1995 and 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Weizmann Institute of Science between 1991 and 1993. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 1984 and 1987.
