Dennis Soriano has extensive experience in the waste management and recycling industry. Dennis began their career at Automated Material Handling in 1991, where they served as Vice President & General Manager. During their time there, they implemented operational standards, upgraded equipment, and integrated computer systems.
In 1999, Soriano joined Waste Management as Vice President of Business Development for Recycle America. In this role, they developed growth plans, identified target acquisitions, and negotiated deals. Dennis played a key role in acquiring companies in key markets such as Denver, Baltimore/Washington DC, and Southern California.
Soriano then moved on to Greenstar Recycling in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer. Dennis directed North American field operations and was involved in strategic planning and acquisitions. Dennis also played a role in building a strong operations team.
In 2011, Soriano took on two roles simultaneously. Dennis became the Chief Executive Officer of Waste to Water, LLC, a company specializing in food waste decomposition. Dennis also took on the role of Principal Consultant at Partners Recycling, where they oversaw sales, operations, and manufacturing functions.
Most recently, Soriano joined BioHiTech Global in 2016 as the Director of Business Development.
Dennis Soriano attended Parsons College from 1968 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Political Science.
