Zin Thu, CLS (ASCP) is an experienced clinical lab scientist currently serving as a Senior Clinical Lab Scientist at Renown Health since November 2020 and as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Tahoe Forest Health System since January 2022. Previously, Zin held positions as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, Inc., and as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, where extensive rotations in Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and Hematology were completed. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Clinical Lab Tech at Monogram Biosciences, Chemistry Lab Tech at the College of Marin, and student assistant positions at UC Davis Early Outreach Academic Program and Skyline College Chemistry Stockroom. Zin's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and an Associate of Science in Natural Science from Skyline College.
