Barbara Ruel

Barbara Ruel has extensive experience in higher education, particularly in the area of diversity and engineering. Since October 2000, Barbara Ruel has served as the Director of Diversity and Women in Engineering Programs at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to this role, Barbara Ruel worked as the Manager of Marketing and Student Services at the same institution from 1997 to 2000. Barbara Ruel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a focus on French and Spanish from Hofstra University, obtained between 1973 and 1977.
