Benj Gleeksman

Benj Gleeksman is an accomplished design educator and professional with extensive experience in graphic design. Currently serving as a lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since August 2023, Benj also works as a design instructor at the Arts Center of the Capital Region since 2012, focusing on graphic design fundamentals and contemporary tools like Adobe Creative Suite. Previous roles include program coordinator and instructor at Holyoke Community College, where Benj redesigned the graphic design curriculum, and various adjunct faculty positions at institutions such as SUNY Cobleskill and Hudson Valley Community College. Benj has also held leadership positions including Communications Director at Salem Art Works and Senior Art Director at Cengage Learning. Benj’s education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor of Science in Fine and Studio Arts from Skidmore College.
