Daniel Couto

Daniel Couto is an experienced professional in the biotechnology sector, holding the position of Board Member (Independent Director) at Telum Therapeutics. Previously, Daniel served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technical Officer, and Senior Vice President of Manufacturing & Operations at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc. Additionally, Daniel has held senior roles at ContraFect Corp as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing & Operations and Vice President of Product Development. Daniel is an active contributor to the academic community as an Industrial Advisory Board Member for the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where Daniel also earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
